SUNY Plattsburgh -- Nu Pi

Plattsburgh, NY, located in northeast New York state is a relatively small city situated on the coast of Lake Champlain.

The city works hard to keep the history of the War of 1812, which the Plattsburgh area played a large part in.

Nu Pi has been active since 2006 and continues to grow as does the Fraternity and Sorority Life Community, which has a past spotted with risky behavior. Nu Pi has a steadfast commitment to service and an active brother on the Colleges Against Cancer executive board. This group plans Relay for Life and other fundraising efforts.

Nu Pi also has members who are involved with a number of campus organizations including: the anime club, campus television station, student government and more.

The administration has hired a full time Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life who has an extended vision for changing the culture on campus.

During my time here, I realized that we as a fraternity have a lot to say. Each of us has a story which can act as a recruitment tool for our organizations...and a week later at 3 am... I had the idea to run the video portion of this site focusing on our "why." If you can tell your story, you can recruit someone.

These men are genuine and took me in as one of their own. I thoroughly look forward to all that they accomplish as the year continues.
